The Upper Mountain Fork Getaway is near Smithville, Oklahoma, aproximately 38 miles north of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and 28 miles from Mena, Arkansas.
The cabin is located 2.3 miles from the intersection of U.S. Highway 259 & Oklahoma Highway 4. Travel east on Highway 4 through Smithville, past the cemetery on the right, across the Mountain Fork River bridge, up a long hill to the Indian Baptist Church. Turn right at the church (south) on 'Buffalo Rd.' and go half a mile to the 'black gravel' driveway of the cabin. Turn right to the cabin.
From Broken Bow take U.S. Highway 259 North 38 miles and turn east (right) on State Highway 4 to Smithville. We are about 28 miles from Mena, Arkansas; take U.S. Highway 71 South to Cove and turn west (right) on Highway 4.
Smithville has a small café for burgers and sandwiches and a couple of small stores are available for anything you’ve forgotten. Mena, Arkansas has a Wal-Mart, restaurants and more stores and services.
